How To Shop Bulk
Need a pinch of cinnamon or a pound of cornmeal? Our Bulk section is stocked with dry goods and liquids: cereals, grains, beans, vinegars, honey, oils, baking needs, coffee, herbs, spices, and tea blends. Get as much or as little as you need…shopping in bulk is easy with the 3 P's:
Pick It
Choose from our wide variety of bulk grains, beans, snacks, cereals, nuts, seeds, oils, vinegars, honeys, soy sauces, flours, baking needs, herbs, teas, spices, salts, and sugars. Get a little or a lot, depending on your needs.
Pack It
We provide bags, or you can buy plastic containers with lids for a nominal fee. You may also bring your own containers—some of our customers like to use their own canning or spice jars, for example.
If you use a container, please use our bulk scale to weigh the empty container and write this “tare” weight on a bulk sticker so the cashier can deduct the container weight before charging you for the product inside it.
PLU It
PLU stands for Price Look Up, and refers to the item number we’ve assigned each bulk product. Record the PLU on either the bulk sticker or twist tie tag on your package; our cashiers will weigh your item and enter the PLU to look up the price in our register system.
